I bought a foreclosed home from the government in Philadelphia about 3 years ago. I heard that before i am able to sell the property i must keep it for a certain time or i violate the terms of the contract. Id like to know how long must i wait before i can sell the property off in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Please help me as i can not find the info, your help will be greatly appreciated by me!

I’m trying to find out exactly what these are. Questions like: At a county auction what am I actually buying? Who puts the lien on the house? What entitlements do the owners still have? When can I sell? Just trying to find out the ins and outs before I look anymore into buying one. Any feedback or personal experience with this would help.

I saw this informercial about buying houses in government tax sales/auctions, but how do you find them. Apparently the previous owner foreclosed and did not pay property tax, so the gov’t then sells the house in an auction. But where are these so-called auctions?

ok i want to by my second house but my first house got put up for auction because i got layed off when i was working for the government but i has only been 4 years and 5 years coming up but i want to no how it is going to effect me getting another home because im tired of living in an apartment … prices on homes have raised high as hell so im wondering do i still only get the downpayment on the home
im living in VA but plan to move to NC i want a low monthly payment maybe 600 to 750 a month

I know these lists are free but the internet is flooded with scam government auction lists sites. I think the sites that have the government auction lists are listed by state and they tell what properties are for sale and what time the auction begins, etc. Can someone help?

same as tax auctions? okay so if u go to a govt and im sure theres alot of serious buyers..and I heard mostly the houses or autos etc. are not in good shape….but if ur gonna invest wouldnt this be a better way to go than buying regular property off the bat? from what I heard you have to pay the remaining mortgage so how about if u payed someone to NOT pay there mortgage so that u could re sell it and then SPLIT profits??? so in the end u can possibly make more money …would that work or is it more to it buying government auction stuff???

in case anyone sees this infomercial… it is a $8500 credit card scam… they provide you with information that you can get at your courthouse.. there is no inside information that they get exclusively from the u.s. government.. and your not going to buy the property for a couple hundred dollars.. like they lead you to believe.. i have attended sheriff sales.. and you can buy stuff cheaper than at a regular auction… but you must have 10-20% cash on hand immediately to purchase if you are winning bidder.. if not they take you before the judge right then for contempt of court.. this isn’t something to play around with..
their disk with lists of websites that will let you sit at home and buy and sale from the internet is a miss leading too.. i ran down most of these websites and they either take you in circles or dead ends.. and alot of them take you to pages no longer on the net…
please don’t let this infomercial ruin u financially…

For example, how is it determined whether house is owned by bank or government and whether… and how is it determined whether it goes on the market or to an auction… and where are the auctions held? If back taxes are owed, does the bank pay the city off? I am very curious as to how this process works.

Is there a good website that lists all forclosure properties, or even auction homes but i cant tell which listing sites are legit and wich ones just collect a fee for public info, and is there a government listing for forclosures ,,,,,,,,,,,,you get the idea of what im looking for, reliable cheap info, can you help?

I am currently renting and interested in buying a home that is in foreclosure and being auctioned off. Are there any government/state websites that are legit that will allow me to see the houses available in my state? Should I use a realtor?
Is it a bad or good time to try and get a mortgage?
