I found PoliceAuctions.com and FireAuctions.com, two sites that seem to be related. They claim to offer seized valuables for auction. They also claim that these auctions often close well below the value of what is being offered.

Is there any way to verify if these sites are legitimate? I’m not letting my money get anywhere near them until I know for sure.

So Im looking on ebay and I find guitars and xbox 360s that are supposedly confiscated by the police/government and are in perfect condition yet the price on them is only like $20. This seems ridiculous, but Im pretty sure that you have to sell things in the exact condition it says they are in otherwise you get into alot of trouble with ebay.

I guess my question is are these auctions too good to be true? Can you really get a working xbox 360 for $20 or is it a big gamble?
well the one i was talking about seems to have ended now, but here is a supposed “fully loaded” xbox 360 which you can “but it now” for 170 which is still way cheaper than normal.

my little brother would love me if i bought this for his birthday but i dont have the money to spend 500 on one.
Do you think this is for real?
