It would be the banks&#8217; responsibility to provide the necessary information (risk rating, loan terms, etc.) to potential bidders, and let them pay what they will.</p><p>Of course, banks&#8217; responsibility has been in short supply lately&#8230;did I just answer my own question, or does anyone else have any thoughts?<br

If someone forecloses and the government buys the bad debt from the banks, some of the people that lost there home still have to pay the remainder of the mortgage that was left on the home after the auction, who will they pay now the government or the banks.
