I heard That guy Murphy is gonna auction the ball cause he cant afford to hold on to it! Isnt that stupid that the government has that law…i would understand if he sold it….he has to get taxed for it…but to get taxed just for having it! Thats so supid! My question….lets say he sells for 500,000,the govenment is gonna take half right? How much does he get to keep?

Actually the federal government will take about fourty percent. Then he will have to pay another outrageously high state tax because he is in California. I’d say he keeps about 190-200 and has to give the rest to the government.
They’ll get about 230,000. Yeah it sucks, but that’s America, but there’s ways to get some of that back.
